Add braces of dimension 2*4 in between the stringers to add additional support to the treads. It will make it stronger.

Step 3: Fill Up The Screw Holes

Step 4: Place the Hardwood Landing

Use hardwood planks and install them in the nosing border of the area. Apply pneumatic floor nailer to secure all of them into the place. Add a finishing touch by filling up the hole with the help of wall putty. 

Step 5: Install Toggles

Make holes for toggle bolts in the post on the walls. Insert the screw and attach toggles on the other side and then make them tight.

Step 6: Cut Railings

Cut the railings in a uniform size. Achieve the cuts by making a mark, holding it in a place, resting alongside the stairs and mark it for an angled cut. 

Step 7: Install Balusters

Drill the landings and treads to fix the balusters, make sure it ends up creating a thread and fits the balusters bolts well.  Drill at the centre and insert the balusters at the bottom. Then screw the balusters on the floor for better stability. 

Step 8: Attach Railings

Lose the newel posts and fix the railing one by one on the place. Place the railings in the holes made on the balusters and then reattach the newel post and tighten up the rail fastener.

Step 9: Install Mouldings

To finish the task add base moldings all over the stairs and landing.
